POYC - Port Owen Yacht Club
About
Yacht club at Port Owen on the Berg River estuary, Velddrif (West Coast). About 300 members; clubhouse with bar, ablutions for visiting boats, active sailing and powerboat programme, and regular social calendar (bingo, pub grub, Saturday braai, Sailors’ Scuttlebutt). Advantage of safe St Helena Bay access plus a wide slow river for dinghies and keelboats.
