Nitro Juice finished first in the published Lipton Challenge Cup standings at HYC over 24–29 August, scoring 44 nett points across 10 races in a 17-boat J22 fleet.

Amtec Racing finished second on 46 nett points, 2 points behind. Nitro Maverick finished third on 51 nett points.

The published results remain provisional.

The organiser reported that Hermanus and Royal Cape were tied before the final race. Nitro Juice finished eight seconds ahead of its rival to secure the cup. Dale Rae won that last race aboard Nitro Maverick for UCT, becoming the first woman skipper to win a race in the contest’s history. Calvin Gibbs sailed with Markus Progli, Thomas Henshilwood and Scarlet Celliers.
