Sailing from HMYC, Aaron Ward competes in the KwaZulu-Natal dinghy circuit. Aaron's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2023. Since then 75 races across 10 regattas have been completed. Most of Aaron's racing has been in ILCA 7, with additional starts in ILCA 6 and Hobie Tiger. Highlights include winning the 2025 National Championships - ILCA Classes in the ILCA 6 fleet, along with the 2023 GENMAC Youth Nationals in the ILCA 6 fleet. Aaron remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
