A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Afika Mabaso represents PYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since January 2025, 17 races across 3 regattas have been recorded for Afika. Most of Afika's racing has been in TSL, with additional starts in other fleets. Afika's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Afika continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
