A Western Cape sailor, Alan Keen represents ZVYC in competitive dinghy racing. Alan's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 108 races across 14 regattas have been completed. Most of Alan's racing has been in ILCA 7, with additional starts in ILCA 6. Alan's best results include winning the 2026 Western Cape Dinghy Championships Final in the ILCA 6 fleet, as well as the 2025 W. Cape Championships - Dinghy Classes in the ILCA 7 fleet. Alan remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
