Most of Alex's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in other fleets. Alex's best results include winning the 2025 Tour De Vlei in the Optimist A fleet, as well as the 2025 Tour De Vlei in the Optimist A fleet. Alex remains active in regional dinghy racing.
