A Western Cape sailor, Benjamin Fourie represents ZVYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since September 2024, 121 races across 15 regattas have been recorded for Benjamin. Most of Benjamin's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in other fleets. Benjamin's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Benjamin continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
