Blake Madel represents ZVYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Since April 2023, 198 races across 23 regattas have been recorded for Blake. Blake competes mainly in the ILCA 6 fleet, alongside races in 29er and ILCA 4.7. Highlights include winning the 2026 ILCA Nationals in the ILCA 6 fleet, along with the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the ILCA 6 fleet. Blake remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
