A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Bruce Ayliffe represents HMYC in competitive dinghy racing. Bruce's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2021. Since then 18 races across 2 regattas have been completed. Bruce competes mainly in the Soling fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Notable results include victory at the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet and strong finishes at the SailingSA events. Bruce remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
