Cailee Pretorius represents HMYC and races in the KwaZulu-Natal sailing circuit. Cailee's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2021. Since then 193 races across 28 regattas have been completed. Most of Cailee's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in Dabchick and Dart 18. Cailee's best results include winning the 2024 -07-07 Hmyc Club Class Championships in the Optimist A fleet, as well as the 2024 -04-08 Kzn Grand Slam And Optimist Regionals in the Optimist A fleet. Cailee remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
