Sailing from KSYC, Clinton Gauld competes in the KwaZulu-Natal dinghy circuit. Since September 2022, 100 races across 16 regattas have been recorded for Clinton. Clinton's primary class has been Dart 18, with additional appearances in other fleets. Key performances include winning the 2024 -04-08 Kzn Grand Slam And Optimist Regionals in the Dart 18 fleet, along with the 2024 -05-05 Zyc Club Fun Race in the Dart 18 fleet. Clinton continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
