David Garrard represents RCYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. David's competitive record on SailingSA begins in February 2024. Since then 8 races across 4 regattas have been completed. David's primary class has been FAST 42, with additional appearances in other fleets. David's best results include winning the 2026 Gimco in the FAST 42 fleet, as well as the 2024 Gimco Orca in the FAST 42 fleet. David continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
