A Free State sailor, Dirk Manten represents SPYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since May 2019, 96 races across 15 regattas have been recorded for Dirk. Most of Dirk's racing has been in J22, with additional starts in Formula 1 and Hunter 19. Key performances include winning the 2026 -04-27 Hunters Nationals - Final in the Hunter 19 fleet, along with the 2024 -10-20 Formula One Nationals in the Formula 1 fleet. Dirk continues to build experience across competitive sailing regattas.
