A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Estian Du Plooy represents ZYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since December 2023, 17 races across 2 regattas have been recorded for Estian. Most of Estian's racing has been in ILCA 6, with additional starts in other fleets. Estian's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Estian remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
