A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Estian Du Plooy represents ZYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since December 2023, 19 races across 3 regattas have been recorded for Estian. Most of Estian's racing has been in ILCA 6, with additional starts in other fleets. Estian's best results include winning the 2025 Hmyc Grand Slam in the ILCA 6 fleet, as well as the 2025 Hmyc Grand Slam in the ILCA 6 fleet. Estian remains active in regional dinghy racing.
