Gust Funke represents PYC and races in the KwaZulu-Natal sailing circuit. Since September 2023, 108 races across 14 regattas have been recorded for Gust. Most of Gust's racing has been in Dabchick, with additional starts in Hunter 19 and Optimist A. Gust's best results include winning the 2024 -03-24 Hunter 19 Kzn Regionals in the Hunter 19 fleet, as well as the 2025 -01-27 Hmyc Grand Slam in the Dabchick fleet. Gust continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
