Harper Madel represents ZVYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Harper's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2024. Since then 12 races across 1 regattas have been completed. Most of Harper's racing has been in Optimist B, with additional starts in other fleets. Highlights include winning the 2024 Youth Nationals - in the Optimist B fleet, along with the 2024 Youth Nationals - in the Optimist B fleet. Harper remains active in regional dinghy racing.
