Hein De Jamaer represents RCYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Hein's earliest SailingSA result dates to April 2023. Since then 82 races across 12 regattas have been recorded. Most of Hein's racing has been in Hobie 16, with additional starts in Hobie 14 and Hobie Tiger. Highlights include winning the 2025 Hobie Tiger Nationals Final in the Hobie Tiger fleet, along with the 2026 Hobie Tiger National Championships in the Hobie Tiger fleet. Hein remains active in regional dinghy racing.
