A Western Cape sailor, Jacques Dugas represents ZVYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since April 2023, 146 races across 18 regattas have been recorded for Jacques. Jacques's primary class has been ILCA 6, with additional appearances in ILCA 4.7. Highlights include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the ILCA 6 fleet, along with the 2025 National Championships - ILCA Classes in the ILCA 6 fleet. Jacques remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
