A Western Cape sailor, Jessica Matchette represents MAC in competitive dinghy racing. Since April 2023, 19 races across 2 regattas have been recorded for Jessica. Jessica competes mainly in the ILCA 4.7 fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Jessica's best results include winning the 2024 Hermanus Cape Classic in the ILCA 4.7 fleet, as well as the 2024 Hermanus Cape Classic in the ILCA 4.7 fleet. Jessica continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
