Sailing from LYC, John Van Der Vyver competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. John's competitive record on SailingSA begins in March 2019. Since then 30 races across 3 regattas have been completed. John competes mainly in the Hobie Tiger fleet, alongside races in Hobie 14. Highlights include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, along with the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. John remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
