A Western Cape sailor, Joshua Young represents FBYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since January 2025, 13 races across 4 regattas have been recorded for Joshua. Joshua's primary class has been Stadt 23, with additional appearances in Pacer 27 and Sonnet. Joshua's best results include winning the 2026 National Championships - Stadt23 Class in the Stadt 23 fleet, as well as the 2025 Stadt 23 Wc Provincials in the Stadt 23 fleet. Joshua continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
