A Western Cape sailor, Joshua Keytel represents ZVYC in competitive dinghy racing. Joshua's earliest SailingSA result dates to April 2023. Since then 201 races across 25 regattas have been recorded. Joshua's primary class has been ILCA 4.7, with additional appearances in Optimist A and 29er. Joshua's best results include winning the 2026 ILCA Nationals in the ILCA 4.7 fleet, as well as the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the ILCA 4.7 fleet. Joshua continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
