A Western Cape sailor, Jowayden Jacobus represents MBSC in competitive dinghy racing. Jowayden's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2018. Since then 29 races across 3 regattas have been completed. Jowayden competes mainly in the RS Tera Pro fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Jowayden's best results include winning the 2018 SA Youth Nationals in the RS Tera Pro fleet, as well as the 2018 SA Youth Nationals in the RS Tera Pro fleet. Jowayden continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
