A Western Cape sailor, Karl Odendaal represents FBYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since September 2022, 10 races across 2 regattas have been recorded for Karl. Most of Karl's racing has been in Tumlaren, with additional starts in other fleets. Karl's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Karl remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
