A Western Cape sailor, Maddison Smit represents MAC in competitive dinghy racing. Since December 2024, 52 races across 7 regattas have been recorded for Maddison. Most of Maddison's racing has been in 420, with additional starts in Mirror and Topaz. Key performances include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Mirror fleet, along with the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the 420 fleet. Maddison continues to build experience across competitive sailing regattas.
