Maddison Smit sails out of MAC in the Western Cape. Maddison's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2024. Since then 79 races across 10 regattas have been completed. Maddison competes mainly in the 420 fleet, alongside races in Mirror and Topaz. Maddison's best results include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Mirror fleet, as well as the 2026 Western Cape Dinghy Championships Final in the 420 fleet. Maddison remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
