Sailing from KYC, Maksi Strydom-Micic competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Maksi's earliest SailingSA result dates to December 2025. Since then 30 races across 3 regattas have been recorded. Maksi competes mainly in the Optimist B fleet, alongside races in Optimist A. Maksi's best results include winning the 2026 Eden District Inter Schools Regatta in the Optimist A fleet, as well as the 2026 Eden District Inter Schools Regatta in the Optimist A fleet. Maksi continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
