A Western Cape sailor, Maksi Strydom-Micic represents KYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since December 2025, 30 races across 3 regattas have been recorded for Maksi. Most of Maksi's racing has been in Optimist B, with additional starts in Optimist A. Notable results include victory at the 2026 Eden District Inter Schools Regatta in the Optimist A fleet and strong finishes at the 2026 Eden District Inter Schools Regatta. Maksi continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
