Sailing from HMYC, Matt Despy competes in the KwaZulu-Natal dinghy circuit. Matt's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2022. Since then 11 races across 1 regattas have been completed. Most of Matt's racing has been in Soling, with additional starts in other fleets. Matt's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Matt remains active in regional dinghy racing.
