Sailing from RNYC, Matthew Beckett competes in the KwaZulu-Natal dinghy circuit. Since December 2017, 22 races across 2 regattas have been recorded for Matthew. Matthew competes mainly in the Optimist B fleet, alongside races in RS Tera Pro. Matthew's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Matthew remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
