Sailing from TSC, Matthew Carter competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Matthew's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 20 races across 3 regattas have been completed. Matthew competes mainly in the Topaz Duo fleet, alongside races in Topaz. Highlights include winning the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships in the Topaz Duo fleet, along with the 2025 TSC Cape Classic in the Topaz fleet. Matthew remains active in regional dinghy racing.
