Most of Max's racing has been in Dabchick, with additional starts in Sonnet and 49er. Notable results include victory at the 2024 SA Sailing Youth Nationals - Dabchick Final - in the Dabchick fleet and strong finishes at the 2025 W. Cape Championships - Dinghy Classes.
