Maximilian Malan sails out of VLC in the Gauteng. Maximilian's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2023. Since then 136 races across 15 regattas have been completed. Maximilian's primary class has been Dabchick, with additional appearances in Optimist A and ILCA 4.7. Highlights include winning the 2025 Kzn Dabchick Regionals in the Dabchick fleet, along with the 2025 Free State Youth Provincial Championship in the Dabchick fleet. Maximilian continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
