Maximilian Malan sails out of VLC in the Gauteng. Maximilian's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2023. Since then 124 races across 14 regattas have been completed. Maximilian competes mainly in the Dabchick fleet, alongside races in Optimist A and ILCA 4.7. Highlights include winning the 2025 Kzn Dabchick Regionals in the Dabchick fleet, along with the 2025 Free State Youth Provincial Championship in the Dabchick fleet. Maximilian remains active in regional dinghy racing.
