Maximilian Malan represents VLC and races in the Gauteng sailing circuit. Maximilian's competitive record on SailingSA begins in August 2021. Since then 260 races across 35 regattas have been completed. Most of Maximilian's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in Dabchick and Stadt 23. Highlights include winning the 2024 -04-01 Mirror Nationals in the Mirror fleet, along with the 2025 -07-20 Kzn Dabchick Regionals in the Dabchick fleet. Maximilian continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
