A Gauteng sailor, Mika Malan represents VLC in competitive dinghy racing. Since December 2023, 123 races across 14 regattas have been recorded for Mika. Most of Mika's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in Dabchick and Mirror. Key performances include winning the 2025 Sas Mirror National Championship in the Mirror fleet, along with the 2025 Interschool Gauteng Regional Championships in the Optimist A fleet. Mika continues to build experience across competitive sailing regattas.
