A Western Cape sailor, Richard Carter represents TSC in competitive dinghy racing. Richard's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 29 races across 4 regattas have been completed. Most of Richard's racing has been in Hobie 16, with additional starts in ILCA 6 and Topaz. Notable results include victory at the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships in the Topaz Duo fleet and strong finishes at the 2025 TSC Cape Classic. Richard continues to build experience across competitive sailing regattas.
