Sailing from ZVYC, Richard Nankin competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Since February 2024, 57 races across 10 regattas have been recorded for Richard. Richard competes mainly in the Corby 49 fleet, alongside races in Extra and Sonnet. Richard's best results include winning the 2025 Zvyc Southern Charter Cape Classic in the Extra fleet, as well as the 2024 Zvyc Southern Charter Classic in the Extra fleet. Richard remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
