Most of Russell's racing has been in ILCA 6, with additional starts in Sonnet. Russell's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Russell continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
