Ryan Black represents RCYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Ryan's competitive record on SailingSA begins in June 2022. Since then 15 races across 2 regattas have been completed. Ryan competes mainly in the J22 fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Highlights include winning the 2022 Pyc Grand Slam in the J22 fleet, along with the 2022 Pyc Grand Slam in the J22 fleet. Ryan continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
