Sean Kavanagh represents SBYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Sean's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 151 races across 15 regattas have been completed. Most of Sean's racing has been in Dabchick, with additional starts in Sonnet and DF95. Key performances include winning the 2024 SA Sailing Youth Nationals - Dabchick Final - in the Dabchick fleet, along with the 2025 SA Sailing Youth National Championship - Final 19 2025 in the Dabchick fleet. Sean remains active in regional dinghy racing.
