Sean Kavanagh sails out of SBYC in the Western Cape. Sean's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 135 races across 13 regattas have been completed. Sean competes mainly in the Dabchick fleet, alongside races in Sonnet and 29er. Highlights include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Dabchick fleet, along with the 2024 SA Sailing Youth Nationals - Dabchick Final - in the Dabchick fleet. Sean remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
