A Western Cape sailor, Sean van Aswegen represents TSC in competitive dinghy racing. Since April 2023, 120 races across 16 regattas have been recorded for Sean. Most of Sean's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in ILCA 4.7 and Mirror. Key performances include winning the 2025 Overberg Regional Championships in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships in the Mirror fleet. Sean remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
