A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Shamir Rampersadh represents PYC in competitive dinghy racing. Shamir's competitive record on SailingSA begins in July 2023. Since then 73 races across 10 regattas have been completed. Shamir competes mainly in the L26 fleet, alongside races in J22 and Mirror. Key performances include winning the 2025 -01-27 Hmyc Grand Slam in the TSL fleet, along with the 2024 -07-05 Msc Regatta in the L26 fleet. Shamir remains active in regional dinghy racing.
