Shannon Du Plessis sails out of UNK in the the region. Shannon's competitive record on SailingSA begins in March 2025. Since then 16 races across 4 regattas have been completed. Shannon competes mainly in the Hobie 14 fleet, alongside races in Hobie 16. Shannon's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Shannon remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
