Sailing from IZI, Simankele Mtshofeni competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Simankele's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 136 races across 15 regattas have been completed. Most of Simankele's racing has been in Mirror, with additional starts in 420. Simankele's best results include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Mirror fleet, as well as the 2025 W. Cape Championships - Dinghy Classes in the Mirror fleet. Simankele continues to build experience across competitive sailing regattas.
