Simankele Mtshofeni represents IZI and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Simankele's earliest SailingSA result dates to April 2023. Since then 114 races across 13 regattas have been recorded. Simankele competes mainly in the Mirror fleet, alongside races in 420. Highlights include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Mirror fleet, along with the 2023 GENMAC Youth Nationals in the Mirror fleet. Simankele remains active in regional dinghy racing.
