A Gauteng sailor, Simon Baer represents EDYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since November 2022, 37 races across 4 regattas have been recorded for Simon. Most of Simon's racing has been in ILCA 7, with additional starts in other fleets. Simon's best results include winning the 2022 Gauteng ILCA 7 Masters in the ILCA 7 fleet, as well as the 2022 Gauteng ILCA 7 Masters in the ILCA 7 fleet. Simon continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
