Taariq Jacobs represents ZVYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Since February 2024, 32 races across 3 regattas have been recorded for Taariq. Taariq competes mainly in the 29er fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Taariq's best results include winning the 2026 Rsa 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet, as well as the 2026 29Er SA Western Cape Championship in the 29er fleet. Taariq continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
