Sailing from ZVYC, Taariq Jacobs competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Taariq's competitive record on SailingSA begins in February 2024. Since then 32 races across 3 regattas have been completed. Most of Taariq's racing has been in 29er, with additional starts in other fleets. Notable results include victory at the 2026 Rsa 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet and strong finishes at the 2026 29Er SA Western Cape Championship. Taariq remains active in regional dinghy racing.
