Since then 14 races across 2 regattas have been completed. Most of Thomas's racing has been in Fireball, with additional starts in other fleets. Highlights include winning the 2024 Hermanus Cape Classic in the Fireball fleet, along with the 2024 Hermanus Cape Classic in the Fireball fleet. Thomas remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
