Sailing from VYC, Thomas Slater competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Thomas's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 75 races across 9 regattas have been completed. Thomas's primary class has been Dabchick, with additional appearances in 29er and 49er. Notable results include victory at the 2025 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet and strong finishes at the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships.
