Thomas Slater sails out of VYC in the Western Cape. Thomas's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 75 races across 9 regattas have been completed. Thomas competes mainly in the Dabchick fleet, alongside races in 29er and 49er. Notable results include victory at the 2025 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet and strong finishes at the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships. Thomas remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
