A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Tristian Uys represents HMYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since December 2018, 44 races across 5 regattas have been recorded for Tristian. Tristian's primary class has been ILCA 6, with additional appearances in Dart 18. Tristian's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Tristian remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
