A Western Cape sailor, Wonga Tongo represents SBYC in competitive dinghy racing. Wonga's earliest SailingSA result dates to February 2025. Since then 16 races across 3 regattas have been recorded. Most of Wonga's racing has been in Mirror, with additional starts in other fleets. Wonga's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Wonga remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
