A Western Cape sailor, Andrea Giovannini represents RCYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since June 2025, 17 races across 2 regattas have been recorded for Andrea. Andrea competes mainly in the J/22 fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Highlights include winning the 2025 Lipton Challenge Cup in the J/22 fleet, along with the 2025 Lipton Challenge Cup in the J/22 fleet. Andrea continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
