A Western Cape sailor, Arthur Watson represents GLYC in competitive dinghy racing. Arthur's competitive record on SailingSA begins in February 2025. Since then 33 races across 4 regattas have been completed. Arthur competes mainly in the Optimist A fleet, alongside races in First 375. Highlights include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, along with the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Arthur continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
